Writing Development Workshop: Part 1

June 10 - 11, 2022
Manoir Saint-Sauveur

The beginning of 2022 continued to be tough on students and teachers.
Let’s write a better ending.

Our Speakers

Workshop Information

This two-day workshop will provide information about children’s writing development combined with opportunities for teachers to practice writing activities. Throughout the workshop, teachers will switch hats frequently between ‘student' and ‘writer.’ They will also think about what it means to be a ‘writing coach.’

Use the button below to email s.martin-chang@concordia.ca in order to register.

Dates and Location

Dates: June 10 - 11, 2022

Location: Manoir Saint-Sauveur

Writers know that location isn’t EVERYTHING…but it helps.

In addition to learning about how writing develops in children, teachers will participate in activities as a starting point to their own projects. Some activities may include hiking, yoga, campfire storytelling, personal journaling, etc.

Come and enjoy the peace and tranquility of Saint-Sauveur, Quebec. Located 1 hour from Montreal, 2 hours from Ottawa, and 3 hours from Quebec City; Saint-Sauveur is the perfect place to feel rejuvenated and inspired to write. Feel free to stay an extra day and connect with colleagues over a round of golf, a walk in the woods, or a day at the spa.
